Baltimore Gas & Electric has filed with the Maryland PSC new Type II SOS rates for the period three-month period beginning December 1, 2011, and updated SOS price comparison information for mass market customers
BGE has completed its procurements for Residential and Type I service for the period June 1 through September 30, 2012; however, those new SOS rates will not be filed officially until December 2011, after the Residential and Type I Time-of-Use rates have been shaped based on June through September 2011 settlement data.
While BGE did not file a tariff supplement officially providing the new small volume SOS rates, it did provide indicative rates for those classes, based on the recent RFP results, which should not change except for the TOU classes which require shaping.
The indicative residential (Schedule R) SOS generation rate for June 1, 2012 through September 30, 2012 is 8.808 cents per kWh. This rate is for generation only and excludes transmission and reconciliations.
The indicative Schedule G and Schedule GU Type I SOS generation rate for June 1, 2012 through September 30, 2012 is 8.325 cents per kWh. This rate is for generation only and excludes transmission and reconciliations.
Additionally, BGE has posted updated Electric Supply Price Comparison Information for its small volume rates classes, including the weighted average annual SOS rate for the period October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2011.
