Ameren Energy Marketing Receives Authority to Serve Residential Customers

The Illinois Commerce Commission granted Ameren Energy Marketing Company an amended alternative retail electric supplier license to include service to residential customers and non-residential customers with annual usage below 15,000 kWh at Commonwealth Edison and Ameren Illinois. The application was first reported in Matters (10/6). Ameren Energy Marketing was previously authorized to serve non-residential customers with annual usage in excess of 15,000 kWh.

North American Power Receives Illinois License

The Illinois Commerce Commission granted North American Power and Gas, LLC an alternative retail electric supplier license to serve all classes of customers at Commonwealth Edison. The application was first reported in Matters (10/6).

Verde Energy Receives Illinois License

The Illinois Commerce Commission granted Verde Energy USA Illinois, LLC an alternative retail electric supplier license to serve all classes of customers at Ameren, Commonwealth Edison, MidAmerican Energy Company, and Mt. Carmel Public Utility Company. The application was first reported in Matters (10/4).
