PECO Prices to Compare to Decrease January 1

PECO has posted updated electric Price to Compare information for the three-month period beginning January 1, 2012.
The Rate R residential Price to Compare will fall to 9.96 cents per kWh effective January 1, from its current level of 11.14 cents.
The Rate RH residential heating Price to Compare, effective January 1, will be 10.05 cents per kWh for the first 600 kWh, and 7.78 cents per kWh for usage above 600 kWh.
The new Prices to Compare for select commercial rate classes, effective January 1, 2012, is as follows (cents per kWh):
For Customers At or Below 100 kW
General Service (GS): 9.75
Primary - Distribution Power (PD): 9.04
High - Tension Power (HT): 8.70
For Customers Above 100 kW and At or Below 500 kW
General Service (GS): 10.20
Primary - Distribution Power (PD): 9.48
High - Tension Power (HT): 9.12
With the exception of GS customers above 100 kW (whose Price to Compare will increase by .06 cents per kWh), each rate listed above is lower than the Price to Compare currently in effect for that respective class.
