Spark Energy Seeks Expanded Pa. License

Spark Energy has sought an amendment to its Pennsylvania natural gas supplier license to serve all customer classes at UGI Penn Natural Gas, Philadelphia Gas Works, and Equitable Gas, and to expand its existing authority at Columbia Gas, UGI Utilities, PECO, and UGI Central Penn Gas (formerly PPL Gas Utilities Corporation) to include service to residential and small commercial customers. Spark is currently authorized to serve large commercial, industrial, and governmental customers in these service areas.

Supermarket Procurement Co-op Topco Associates Seeks Illinois ABC License

Topco Associates LLC d/b/a TopSource LLC applied for an Illinois electric agent, broker, and consultant license. As only reported in Matters (5/18), TopSource is the not-for-resale procurement arm of grocer cooperative Topco Associates LLC, and is in the process of expanding into the procurement of competitive electricity in several states. Members of Topco Associates with Illinois operations include Hy-Vee, Meijer, Piggly Wiggly Midwest LLC, Roundy's Supermarkets Inc. (Mariano's Fresh Market), Schnuck Markets Inc., and distributors Affiliated Foods Midwest, Amber Pharmacy, Certco Inc., Laurel Grocery Company.
