MLB Approves Sale of Astros to CEO of Owner of Champion Energy

Major League Baseball approved the sale of the Houston Astros to a group headed by Houston businessman Jim Crane. Crane is CEO and President of Crane Capital Group, Inc., which is an owner of Champion Energy Services. Also notable is that the sale includes related properties including an interest in Comcast SportsNet Houston.
