Residential Migration Growth Slows at PECO, PPL

PPL Electric Utilities and PECO both saw large declines in the weekly growth of migrated residential accounts in the most recent weekly statistics from the Pennsylvania PUC.

From November 13 to November 19, PPL saw residential migration growth of 741 accounts, down from the growth of 1,340 accounts in the immediately prior week.

At PECO, from November 16 to November 22, the growth in migrated residential accounts was 1,300 accounts, down from the week-ago growth of 3,100.

At Duquesne Light, weekly residential migration growth was 1,400 accounts, versus the week-ago 1,700.

Penelec also saw weekly residential migration growth drop to 1,500 accounts from the week-ago 1,700.

At West Penn Power, the weekly growth in residential migration was 1,200 accounts, down from growth of 1,400 in the immediately prior week.

Met-Ed saw an increase in the weekly growth rate for residential migration, with nearly 1,500 new residential shoppers for the week, versus the week-ago growth of 1,100.
