My Choice Energy Launches Service at Duke Energy Ohio

My Choice Energy has begun offering natural gas service at Duke Energy Ohio, with a product listed on PUCO's apples to apples chart.

For residential customers, My Choice Energy is offering a fixed rate through December 31, 2012, with a base rate of $0.57500 per Ccf and a total rate of $0.67350 per Ccf.

The product includes an early termination fee of $50.

Commercial service is also available.

My Choice Energy also offers service in Michigan at MichCon, Consumers Energy, SEMCO, and Michigan Gas Utilities. According to its website, My Choice Energy serves 11,000 customers and is looking to expand into other states as well.

My Choice Energy, a subsidiary of Foster Energy Services, offers customers various discounts from its sister companies Foster Blue Water Oil, Foster Energy Services, Blue Flame Propane, Sunrise Stores, and Pacific Pride, which are involved in the supply, transport, and delivery of gasoline, propane, and other oil and lubricants. Sunrise operates 28 convenience stores in Michigan, which also retail Marathon or BP gasoline.
