Pennsylvania Migration Growth Slows in Holiday-Shortened Week

According to the most recent statistics from the Pennsylvania PUC, weekly residential electric migration growth in Pennsylvania was generally lower in the most recent week, in part due to the loss of a meter read date from the holiday.

West Penn Power was the only utility to see an increase in the weekly growth in residential migration. From November 24 to November 30, West Penn Power saw total migrated residential accounts increase by 1,550, versus the week-ago growth of 1,200.
All of the other distribution companies saw slower growth in residential migration versus the preceding week.
At PECO, residential migration growth for the most recent week was 600 accounts, versus the week-ago 1,350.
At PPL, residential migration growth for the most recent week was 431 accounts, versus the week-ago 741.
While down marginally versus the week-ago, both Duquesne Light (+1,200 accounts) and Met-Ed (+1,350 accounts) saw solid residential customer migration growth for the most recent week.
