Future Now Energy has begun offering residential natural gas service at Duke Energy Ohio through the PUCO Apples to Apples chart.
Although Future Now Energy has been active at Duke Energy Ohio for several years, it's the first time it has listed an offer on Apples to Apples.
Future Now Energy is offering a variable rate product with a term of five years. There is no early termination fee.
Under the offer, a rebate of 18% of the Future Now Energy supply charge, after deducting any taxes assessed by government entities and fees paid to third parties, for each billing period will accrue over the term of the contract. The rebate is contingent upon the customer continuing to purchase natural gas from and as a customer of Future Now Energy during the term of agreement.
The rebate is payable in two parts. Half of the rebate will be payable during the term of the agreement for quarters ending 90 days prior when said rebate amount exceeds $100. However, at a minimum, each Future Now Energy customer receives the rebate once per year even if the rebate does not exceed $100.
The remaining half will be payable at the end of the five year term of the agreement.
Future Now Energy lists its residential offer as consisting of a base rate of $0.53350/Ccf and a total rate of $0.63290/Ccf. "Offer rate based on current monthly rate less 18% rebate," Future Now Energy states on the Apples to Apples chart.
