ERCOT Issues Final RMR Determination for S.R. Bertron Units
ERCOT issued its final determination that NRG Energy S.R. Bertron Units 3, 4 and GT2 are not required for Reliability Must-Run service, allowing these units to cease or suspend operations.
Shahid Malik to Lead PSEG Energy Resources & Trade
Shahid Malik has been named President of PSEG Energy Resources & Trade, and his responsibilities will include management of PSEG Power's generation portfolio and basic gas supply service, purchasing of fuel, mid- and back-office operations as well as trading and marketing activities. Malik has served as President and CEO of retail supplier Strategic Energy. Most recently, Malik was with management consultant Pittiglio, Rabin, Todd & McGrath (PRTM), and also served on the Board of Directors of South Jersey Industries.
