From the end of September to the end of October, Pepco saw residential migration growth of only 945 accounts versus the September total. This compares to the net growth of nearly 11,000 migrated residential customers at Pepco from August to September.

Additionally, Potomac Edison (FirstEnergy/Allegheny) continues to see a net decline in migrated residential accounts. The decline in residential migration during October at Potomac Edison was 168 accounts, following a net decline in residential migration of 145 accounts during September, and 201 accounts during August.

Baltimore Gas & Electric saw migrated residential accounts grow by 4,100 from the end of September to end of October, consistent with the month-ago growth of 4,000 accounts.

Also notable is that BGE saw a net increase of 6,100 migrated Type I commercial accounts from the end of September to end of October. Growth in migrated Type I accounts over the past few months had been negligible, and the net gain of 6,100 migrated account reverses a net decline of 4,700 migrated Type I accounts that had been seen in June (see 7/18).

Residential migration as a percent of accounts as of October 2011 was:

BGE: 22.9%

Delmarva: 10.1%

Pepco: 20.4%

Potomac Edison: 7.2%
