Bounce Energy Packaging DirectTV Offer with Electricity Plan

Bounce Energy has launched a new electric plan for ERCOT residential customers providing an opportunity for customers to save on DirectTV service when enrolling with Bounce.

The 24-month fixed product includes $10 off the customer's electricity bill every month for 20 months and $5 off the customer's DirectTV bill every month for 24 months.

Current pricing for electricity under the plan, which includes 20% wind, is 9.7¢/kWh at Oncor, and 10.5¢/kWh at CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric (average based on 1,000 kWh usage). A $6.95 base charge applies if usage in the billing period is less than 1,000 kWh.

Individual bill components at Oncor are an energy charge of 6.3180¢/kWh plus a monthly distribution charge of $6.15 plus a volumetric distribution charge of 2.8006¢/kWh, plus the monthly $6.95 base charge if applicable.

Individual bill components at CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric are an energy charge of 6.2871¢/kWh plus a monthly distribution charge of $9.41 plus a volumetric distribution charge of 3.3042¢/kWh, plus the monthly $6.95 base charge if applicable.

An early termination fee of $250 applies.

While customers have the opportunity to enroll with DirectTV at a discount, the cost is not bundled into the per kWh rate, and DirectTV is charged separately. Customers can choose from a variety of plans from DirectTV.

Customers will receive nine months of free Showtime under the plan, and three months of free HBO, Starz, and Cinemax.

Customers can also earn up to $150 in Bounce Energy bill credits through the Bounce Energy Rewards Program.
