Energy Plus Holdings Formally Announces Ohio Entry

Energy Plus Holdings formally announced today the entry of its affiliate Energy Plus Natural Gas LP into the Ohio natural gas market for residential and commercial service. The market entry was first reported by Matters in October (10/28), and as previously reported includes service at Dominion East Ohio, Duke Energy Ohio, and Columbia Gas.

Curtis named to Lead Dominion Retail

Dominion has named Katheryn B. Curtis as vice president-Retail, charged with leading Dominion Retail. Curtis replaces Richard Zelenko, who is retiring after a 33-year career. Curtis was presently serving as vice president-Fossil & Hydro Merchant Operations. In her new role, Curtis will report to Paul D. Koonce, CEO of Dominion Virginia Power. Dominion Retail serves 2.2 million natural gas, electric and energy services customers in 15 states

Blue Pilot Energy Announces Pennsylvania Entry

Blue Pilot Energy, LLC announced yesterday its formal entry into the Pennsylvania energy marketplace. Blue Pilot Energy did not return a call seeking comment by publication time. No information on rates, products, or service area were available on Blue Pilot Energy's website or PA Power Switch., Blue Pilot Energy said that its service offerings will include electricity sales to business and residential customers in Pennsylvania. The entry of Blue Pilot Energy, which is affiliated with several telecomm firms (including NOS Communications), into the retail energy market in several states was first reported by Matters (2/7)
