Santanna Energy Services Seeks Electric Supplier License

Santanna Natural Gas Corporation d/b/a Santanna Energy Services applied for an Ohio electric supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. Santanna Energy Services currently serves nearly 90,000 natural gas customers behind eight natural gas distribution companies in Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan, and as a broker represents more than 1,000 commercial and industrial electric customers behind electric utilities in Illinois.

Supermarket Procurement Co-op Topco Associates Seeks New Broker License

Topco Associates LLC d/b/a TopSource LLC applied for a Maryland electric broker license. As only reported in Matters (5/18), TopSource is the not-for-resale procurement arm of grocer cooperative Topco Associates LLC, and is in the process of expanding into the procurement of competitive electricity in several states. Members of Topco Associates with Maryland operations include Giant Eagle, Inc., Wegmans Food Markets, Inc., and Weis Markets, Inc.

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Power2Switch Inc. an electric broker/aggregator license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. The application was first reported in Matters (11/8).

Atlantic Power Partners, LLC registered for New Hampshire natural gas and electric aggregator licenses.
