The New York PSC approved tariffs at Niagara Mohawk to allow SC-3 Customers with demands below the 250 kW threshold and SC-2 Demand Customers to voluntarily elect hourly pricing for commodity supply from NiMo.

The tariff also allows these customers to elect to be settled on actual hourly usage (rather than a profile) if they elect supply from an ESCO.

All customers regardless of electricity supplier who voluntarily elect hourly pricing/settlement will be required to install an interval meter, and will be subject to an incremental customer charge of $43.46/month.

Voluntary hourly pricing for these customers will be available starting June 1, 2013.
