Noble Americas Gas & Power Seeks Retail Gas License in Ohio

Noble Americas Gas & Power Corp. d/b/a Emerald Energy Retail applied for an Ohio gas supplier license to serve all customer classes at Dominion East Ohio and Columbia Gas.

Although Noble Americas Gas & Power said that it intends to serve Standard Choice Offer (SCO) customers, it was not explicit that its retail gas marketing would be exclusively to SCO customers and would not include marketing to customers outside of the auction.

Noble Americas Gas & Power Corp. currently serves Standard Service Offer load at Columbia Gas through a contractual relationship with Delta Energy, and Noble Americas Gas & Power Corp. plans to nominate gas for its SCO customers through its agency relationship with Delta Energy.

Noble Americas Gas & Power Corp. is the parent of Noble Americas Energy Solutions, which, aside from its retail electric marketing, serves retail gas customers in California and is licensed as a retail gas supplier in Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
