The Maine PUC has disclosed the winning bidders in the recent small volume Standard Offer solicitations for supply at Central Maine Power and Bangor Hydro-Electric.
Constellation Energy Commodities Group Maine, LLC won the CMP residential and small non-residential class load available in the recent RFP (33% of total load in this class) for a three-year period beginning March 1, 2012.
The PUC also approved Constellation's unlinked bid for CMP's hydroelectric entitlements. However, the PUC denied Constellation's unlinked bid for CMP's entitlements from the Rollins wind project, and directed that such entitlements be resold on the market.
New Brunswick Power Generation Corporation won the BHE residential and small non-residential class load available in the recent RFP (33% of total load in this class) for a three-year period beginning March 1, 2012.
The New Brunswick Power Generation Standard Offer bid was linked to its bid to purchase BHE's non-divested entitlements to energy and capacity associated with the Penobscot Energy Recovery Company generation facility (PERC Entitlement) and entitlements to energy associated with the Rollins Wind Farm and the Exeter Agri-Energy generation facility (LTC Entitlements), which were also approved under the linked bid.
