From the end of October to the end of November, Delmarva saw a decrease of 131 residential customers on competitive supply. It's the first net decline in residential migration at Delmarva since five customers left competitive supply between January and February of this year.
Potomac Edison (FirstEnergy) also saw a continuation of its trend of fewer residential customers on competitive supply, though the decline did slow during November. It's the fourth consecutive month that Potomac Edison has seen a net decline in the number of residential customers on competitive supply.
From the end of October to the end of November, Potomac Edison saw a decrease of 66 residential customers on competitive supply, versus a decrease of 168 from the end of September to end of October.
The growth in residential migration during November at Baltimore Gas & Electric and Pepco slowed versus the October growth. New, lower SOS rates went into effect October 1, and due to the enrollment window and meter read schedule, the results of October marketing appear in the November report.
At BGE, residential migration increased by 3,100 accounts during November, versus growth of 4,100 accounts during October.
Migration growth among Type I BGE customers during November was 222 accounts, versus the October growth of 6,000 accounts.
At Pepco, residential migration increased by 729 accounts during November, versus growth of 945 accounts during October.
Residential migration as a percent of accounts as of Nov. 2011 was:
BGE: 23.1%
Delmarva: 10.1%
Pepco: 20.5%
Potomac Edison: 7.2%
