StarTex Power announced that the greater Houston and South Texas Better Business Bureau has upgraded the company's review rating from an "A" to "A+."
This was the first year StarTex Power, which has been in business since 2004, was eligible to receive the coveted "A+" ranking. A company must be in business for eight years to be eligible for the "A+" ranking.
Better Business Bureau review ratings are awarded based on the following grading elements: complaint history, type of business, time in business, background information, honoring commitments to the BBB, licensing or governmental actions, and advertising issues.
"An 'A+' ranking by the Better Business Bureau is a tremendous honor. To be awarded this ranking during our first year of eligibility is an even greater one. Customer care and delivering the Star Treatment to each of our customers every day have been and always will be a core value of StarTex Power," said Marcie Zlotnik, executive vice president, StarTex Power.
"The credit must go to our incredible employees who, regardless of their position or title, are committed to providing exceptional customer care every day," Zlotnik said.
StarTex Power is owned by Constellation Energy.
