Detroit Edison Files Final Electric Choice Cap for 2012

Detroit Edison has filed its final electric choice cap for the year 2012 with the Michigan PSC.

Detroit Edison reported that its final cap for 2012 is 4,709,341 MWh, based on weather-adjusted retail sales for the calendar year 2011 of 47,093,408 MWh.

Current choice volumes of 5,213,163 MWh already exceed this cap.

According to Detroit Edison's cap tracking system, there are 2,965 enrollments representing 2,142,178 MWh in the queue to take choice service.
