United Illuminating Posts New POR Discount Rate

United Illuminating has filed the calculation of the 2012 Non-Hardship Uncollectible Factor, which serves as the Purchase of Receivables discount rate.

The new POR discount rate is 1.07%, reflecting an average of the inputs used in the 2010 Non-Hardship Uncollectible Factor of 0.66% and the 2011 Factor of 1.54%.

This represents an increase from the prior POR discount rate of 0.84%.
