WGES Names Melanie Santiago-Mosier Director of Regulatory and Legislative Affairs

Washington Gas Energy Services has named Melanie Santiago-Mosier as Director of Regulatory and Legislative Affairs, responsible for oversight of the company's governmental relations in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Previously, Santiago-Mosier served as the first Director of Legislative Affairs for the Maryland Public Service Commission, where she developed and managed comprehensive legislative strategy and communications programs. Santiago-Mosier has also served as a policy analyst for the Maryland General Assembly, and was most recently Government Affairs Manager for Astrum Solar, Inc.

From the Archives: Calif. Posts Draft on Rules Governing Utility Behavior Toward Community Choice Aggregation

As first reported by Matters on February 7, the Calif. PUC issued a draft resolution to institute a rulemaking governing utility behavior with respect to community choice aggregation. The PUC is to vote on the draft today.
