Residential Customers Continue to Leave Competitive Supply at PPL

PPL continues to experience a net decline in the number of residential customers taking competitive supply, according to the latest statistics from the Pennsylvania PUC

From February 12 to February 18, PPL saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply decline by 363 accounts, an acceleration of the week-ago decline of 298 accounts.
At PECO, the number of residential customers on competitive supply increased by 2,200 accounts for the most recent week, which is even with the week-ago growth.
Met-Ed saw residential migration grow by 4,900 accounts in the most recent week, down from growth of 6,300 in the immediately prior week.
Penelec also saw residential migration grow by 4,900 accounts in the most recent week, which is even with the growth in the immediately prior week.
West Penn Power weekly migration growth was up slightly at 1,550 accounts, versus growth of 1,450 accounts a week ago.
Duquesne Light saw the weekly residential migration growth rate increase to 1,450 accounts for the most recent week, up from the week-ago 1,300 accounts.
