Residential Customers on Competitive Supply Again Declining at PPL

After a week in which PPL Electric saw its first increase in the number of residential customers on competitive supply in over a month, the territory has again experienced a net loss in residential shoppers in the most recent week, according to the latest stats from the Pennsylvania PUC.

From February 26 to March 3, PPL saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply decrease by 293 accounts. This contrasts to the growth of 91 residential customers on competitive supply in the immediately prior week.

In the most recent week, PECO saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 3,200 accounts, up from the week-ago growth of 2,200 accounts.

Penelec saw residential migration to competitive supply grow by 4,400 accounts in the most recent week, up from growth of 4,100 accounts in the immediately prior week.

Met-Ed saw residential migration grow by 3,750 accounts in the most recent week, which is about even with the week-ago growth.

West Penn Power weekly residential migration growth was just under 1,200 accounts, similar to the week-ago growth.

Duquesne Light saw residential migration grow by 1,000 accounts in the most recent week, versus growth of 1,300 in the immediately prior week.
