Number of Residential Customers on Competitive Supply Falls Again at PPL

The number of residential customers on competitive supply at PPL Electric Utilities has declined for a second consecutive week, continuing the pattern seen for most of 2012.

From March 4 to March 10, PPL saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply decrease by 700 accounts, an acceleration from the week-ago decline of 300 accounts.
In the most recent week, PECO saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 2,650 accounts, down from the week-ago growth of 3,200 accounts.
Penelec saw residential migration to competitive supply grow by 3,250 accounts in the most recent week, down from growth of 4,400 accounts in the immediately prior week.
Met-Ed saw residential migration grow by 2,600 accounts in the most recent week, down from growth of 3,750 accounts in the immediately prior week.
West Penn Power weekly residential migration growth was about 1,050 accounts, versus growth of just under 1,200 accounts a week ago.
Duquesne Light saw residential migration grow by 1,500 accounts in the most recent week, up from growth of 950 accounts in the immediately prior week.
