Number of Residential Customers on Competitive Supply Falls at PPL

The number of residential electric customers on competitive supply decreased at PPL during the most recent week, continuing the trend of see-sawing marginal growth and marginal decline seen during the past month.

From March 18 to March 24 PPL saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply decrease by 400. In the immediately prior week, PPL had seen the number of residential customers on competitive supply increase by 250.

In the most recent week, PECO saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 1,700 accounts, down from the week-ago growth of 1,900 accounts.

Met-Ed saw residential migration to competitive supply grow by 2,200 accounts in the most recent week, up from growth of 2,000 in the immediately prior week.

Penelec saw residential migration to competitive supply grow by 2,000 accounts in the most recent week, down from growth of 2,300 accounts in the immediately prior week.

West Penn Power weekly residential migration growth was 700 accounts, versus growth of 750 accounts a week ago.

Duquesne Light saw residential migration grow by 1,000 accounts in the most recent week, versus growth of 1,300 accounts in the immediately prior week
