Potomac Edison Files to Increase Residential POR Discount Rate

Potomac Edison has filed updated purchase of receivables discount rates with the Maryland PSC, to take effect June 1.
The new POR discount rates are:
Residential: 0.7586%
Type I: 0.7763%
Type II: 0.0402%
Hourly Priced Customers: 0.0379%
For comparison, the currently effective discount rates are:
Residential: 0.1817%
Type I: 0.7008%
Type II: 0.1795%
Hourly Priced Customers: 0.0339%
