OnDemand Energy Solutions Launches Affinity Program with Council of Smaller Enterprises

Broker-consultant OnDemand Energy Solutions has entered into an electric procurement affinity partnership with the Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE), one of the nation's largest regional small business support organizations located in Northeast Ohio. In addition to serving COSE members, employees of participating COSE members are also eligible to leverage the program for their home electric usage. COSE is comprised of more than 14,000 member companies.

Duke Energy Ohio Files at FERC to Separate Generation Assets

As contemplated by its Ohio electric security plan, Duke Energy Ohio formally filed at FERC yesterday to transfer its Ohio generating asset out of the utility to non-utility affiliates (Docket EC12-90). Link to Duke filing

Ohio Power Files Again to Remove Generating Assets from Utility

As contemplated by its modified electric security plan proposal, Ohio Power (AEP Ohio) has filed at PUCO for full legal corporate separation (also known as structural corporate separation) such that the transmission and distribution assets of Ohio Power will continue to be held by the distribution utility and Ohio Power's generation assets will be transferred to an affiliate (Case 12-1126-EL-UNC).
