Peninsula Energy Services Company Signs Supply Contract with Miami-Dade County

Peninsula Energy Services Company, Inc. has been selected by the Board of County Commissioners of Miami-Dade County to provide natural gas supply to the Miami-Dade Water & Sewer Department's water processing plants in Miami and Hialeah, Florida. Peninsula Energy Services Company's natural gas marketing operations serve approximately 3,500 commercial and industrial customers, and the company currently provides natural gas supply services in Florida, Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Peninsula Energy Services Company is a subsidiary of Chesapeake Utilities Corporation.

GE Energy Financial Services Auctioning Capacity on Linden Project Linking PJM, NYISO

GE Energy Financial Services announced today that it will auction 225 megawatts of bi-directional electricity transfer capacity from its Linden variable frequency transformer (VFT) smart grid project at the intersection of the New York ISO and PJM Interconnection. GE Energy Financial Services will hold the auction in June to sell nine blocks of 25 megawatts of transmission scheduling rights that will become available on November 1, 2012. www.lindenvftauction.com
