U.S. Gas & Electric Subsidiary Begins Residential Service in New State

Connecticut Gas & Electric has begun offering residential electric service at Connecticut Light & Power and United Illuminating.
As only reported by Matters, a commercial offer was posted last week, but residential offers were only recently added to the CT Energy Info Rate Board.
At CL&P, Connecticut Gas & Electric is offering residential customers a variable rate currently priced at 7.790 cents per kWh.
At UI, Connecticut Gas & Electric is offering residential customers a variable rate currently priced at 7.990 cents per kWh.
Connecticut Gas & Electric is a wholly owned subsidiary of Energy Service Providers, Inc., which itself is owned by U.S. Gas & Electric, Inc.
