HIKO Energy Seeks New License
HIKO Energy, LLC applied for a Pennsylvania natural gas supplier license to serve all customer classes.
Glacial Energy Seeks Expanded Supplier License
Glacial Energy of Illinois, Inc. applied for an amendment to its Illinois alternative retail electric supplier license to serve all customer classes at Commonwealth Edison and Ameren. Glacial Energy of Illinois had previously been granted authority to serve non-residential customers with annual usage above 15,000 kWh at ComEd and Ameren. As first reported by Matters last month, Glacial Energy of New England, Inc. has filed for an amendment to its Maine electric supplier license to include service to residential customers at Central Maine Power, Bangor Hydro-Electric, and Maine Public Service.
Banc Certified Merchant Services Receives Broker Licenses
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Banc Certified Merchant Services, LLC, d/b/a Certified Utility Services, electric and natural gas broker/aggregator licenses. For electricity, Banc Certified Merchant Services was licensed to serve commercial, mercantile, and industrial customers in all service areas, and for natural gas, Banc Certified Merchant Services was licensed to serve all customer classes in all service areas. As previously reported, Banc Certified Merchant Services is a merchant services company whose products and services include credit card processing, check services, wire transfer and ACH services along with internet gateway portal and shopping cart services
Summerview Energy Receives New License
The Maine PUC granted Summerview Energy, LLC an electric aggregator/broker license to serve all customer classes throughout Maine. The application was first reported in Matters (2/28).
