New Base GCR Factor Approved at MichCon

The Michigan PSC authorized Michigan Consolidated Gas Company to implement, for the 12-month period from April 1, 2011 through March 31, 2012, a base gas cost recovery factor of $5.89 per thousand cubic feet.

Michigan PSC Approves Value-Add Pilot at MichCon

The Michigan PSC approved a natural gas renewable resource pilot program for Michigan Consolidated Gas Company, under which up to 2,000 residential customers may elect to pay a renewable resource premium of $2.50 per month to support the consumption and development of natural gas generated from renewable biogas resources. Participation in the pilot program will be available for a period of up to 24 months from the effective date of the approved tariff. Customers will be able to terminate their participation in the program at any time.
