N.Y. PSC Orders Corning to "Accommodate" Purchase of Receivables
The New York PSC approved a joint proposal for a three-year rate plan at Corning Natural Gas which, as only reported by Matters, provides that a new customer accounting system required under the settlement shall, "be capable of accommodating a Purchase of Receivables ('POR') program." The joint proposal does not, itself, introduce a POR program at Corning at this time. The joint proposal also contains several provisions relating to transportation balancing , (see prior story)
PUCO Schedule Would Not Accommodate May 2 Order for FirstEnergy EDCs' Electric Security Plan
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has issued a procedural schedule in the electric security plan proceeding of Ohio Edison, Cleveland Electric Illuminating, and Toledo Edison that does not contemplate a final order by the May 2 date requested by several stipulating parties. Testimony on behalf of non-signatory parties is not due until May 4, 2012, and a hearing was scheduled for May 21, 2012. The utilities and stipulating parties had sought approval by May 2 to allow certain demand resources to be bid into the 2015-2016 Base Residual Auction (see prior story)
