Gulf Oil Seeking Supplier License in New State

Gulf Oil Limited Partnership has applied for a Maine electric supplier license to serve all customer classes at Central Maine Power, Bangor Hydro-Electric, and several municipal utilities and cooperatives.
As previously reported, Gulf Oil Limited Partnership is currently licensed in Connecticut (where it has active residential offers) and Massachusetts, and will be applying to commence operations in New York within the next few months.
Gulf Oil Limited Partnership did not seek authority to serve customers at Maine Public Service at this time.
The additional Maine territories which Gulf Oil Limited Partnership is seeking to serve are Eastern Maine Electric Cooperative, Fox Island Electric Cooperative, Kennebunk Light and Power District, Madison Department of Electric Works, and Swans Island Electric Cooperative.
