PPL Sees Marginal Decline in Residential Customers on Competitive Supply

The loss of residential customers taking competitive supply at PPL slowed considerably during the most recent week, according to the most recent data from the Pennsylvania PUC.

From April 22 to April 28, PPL saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply decrease by 133, versus the loss of 796 residential customers on competitive supply in the immediately prior week.
In the most recent week, PECO saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply grow by 1,800 accounts, up marginally from the week-ago growth of 1,700 accounts.
At Met-Ed, the weekly growth in the number of residential customers on competitive supply for the most recent week was 1,400 accounts, versus the growth of 1,900 accounts in the immediately prior week.
At Penelec, the weekly growth in the number of residential customers on competitive supply for the most recent week was 1,150 accounts, versus the growth of 1,700 accounts in the immediately prior week.
At West Penn Power, the weekly growth in the number of residential customers on competitive supply for the most recent week was 1,000 accounts, versus the growth of 700 accounts in the immediately prior week.
Updated data for Duquesne Light was not available.
