Liberty Power today announced that it had entered four new residential markets.

Specifically, Liberty Power is now offering residential electricity at four service areas in Connecticut and Maryland -- Connecticut Light & Power, Baltimore Gas & Electric, Pepco, and Delmarva.

Rates were not immediately available, but Liberty said that it will initially be offering 12 and 24 month fixed rates, and said that additional products may be offered in the future.

Residential service at Potomac Edison and United Illuminating is anticipated in the future.
