Nstar Announces Lower Basic Service Rates

Nstar today announced lower basic service rates for the period beginning July 1.

Nstar said that the fixed rate option basic service supply price for all Nstar residential customers will drop by nearly 16 percent, from 7.928 cents to 6.699 cents per kilowatt-hour beginning in July.

Rates for C&I customers were not immediately available.
