Connecticut PURA Opens Docket to Review Electric Bill Charges, Including Bypassable and Nonbypassable Components

The Connecticut PURA has opened docket 12-05-04 for a review of electric bill charges and costs. The purpose of the docket is the identification and review of 1) the charges on electric bills, including but not limited to, the following: Bypassable and Non-Bypassable Federally Mandated Congestion Charges, Generation Service Charge, Competitive Transition Assessment, Combined Public Benefits Charge, Conservation and Load Management, Renewable Energy Investment Fund, and Systems Benefit Charge; and 2) the costs passed through each charge.

United Illuminating reported that DTE Energy Trading, Inc. will serve 100% of its Last Resort Service requirements for the third quarter of 2012.
