ComEd Posts New Electricity Supply Charges

Commonwealth Edison has posted new purchased electricity charges (PEC) for the period beginning June 1.

For Residential Non-Electric Space Heating customers, the PEC is 6.225¢/kWh for June 2012 through September 2012, and 7.730¢/kWh for October 2012 through May 31, 2013.

For Residential Electric Space Heating customers, the PEC is 5.843¢/kWh for June 2012 through September 2012, and 5.264¢/kWh for October 2012 through May 31, 2013.

For Watt-hour Non-Electric Space Heating customers, the PEC is 6.227¢/kWh for June 2012 through September 2012, and 7.768¢/kWh for October 2012 through May 31, 2013.

For Demand Non-Electric Space Heating customers, the PEC is 6.186¢/kWh for June 2012 through September 2012, and 7.728¢/kWh for October 2012 through May 31, 2013.

For Nonresidential Electric Space Heating customers, the PEC is 6.098¢/kWh for June 2012 through September 2012, and 6.674¢/kWh for October 2012 through May 31, 2013.

The rates above are the PECs only, which are designated on retail customer bills as the Electricity Supply Charge pursuant to Rate BES. The rates do not include transmission and the reconciliation factor (PEA).
