Homefield Energy Wins Contract to Supply 51 Illinois Communities Under Opt-Out Aggregation

Homefield Energy, Ameren Energy Marketing's municipal aggregation brand, has been selected to supply residential customers under 51 opt-out aggregations in Central and Southern Illinois. Service will begin in early June for a two-year term with pricing of $0.0408 per kilowatt-hour. Combined annual contract volume for all communities will be up to 2 billion kilowatt-hours annually. Retail Electric Providers Named BBB Winners of Distinction

North American Power, Breitbart Named Finalists for American Business Awards

North American Power has been named a finalist in two categories of the 2012 American Business Awards. The company is a finalist in the Company of the Year category for Energy, and Co-founder and CEO Kerry Breitbart is a finalist in the Executive of the Year category for Energy & Utilities. North American Power and Breitbart will ultimately be Gold, Silver, or Bronze Stevie Award winners in the program.
