Nstar Files New Basic Service Rates for C&I Customers

Nstar has filed new basic service rates for the period beginning July 1.
The residential fixed rate option of 6.699 cents per kilowatt-hour for the period July through December was previously reported by Matters, but at that time the residential monthly rates and rates for non-residential customers were not available.

The retail prices include a Basic Service Adder of $0.00052 per kilowatt-hour approved in D.T.E. 03-88 and $0.00018 per kWh approved in D.P.U. 10-163. The revised Basic Service Adder of $0.00003 per kWh associated with Nstar Green service, however, proposed in D.P.U. 12-36 for effect July 1, 2012 has been excluded from the development of the Basic Service Price.
