Growth in New Jersey Residential Migration to Competitive Supply Steady during April

The April growth in the number of residential electric customers on competitive supply was generally in line with the March growth at all four New Jersey electric distribution companies, according to the latest data on the BGS auction website.

From the end of March to the end of April, Public Service Electric & Gas saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply increase by 9,400 accounts, down marginally from the growth of 11,000 accounts seen during March.
From the end of March to the end of April, Jersey Central Power & Light saw the number of residential customers on competitive supply increase by 5,000 accounts, down from the March growth of 7,000 accounts.
Atlantic City Electric saw residential migration growth of 2,700 accounts during April, versus the March growth of 4,000 accounts.
Rockland Electric saw residential migration growth of 300 accounts during April, versus growth of 185 accounts in March.
As a percent of residential accounts, current migration to competitive electric supply in New Jersey is:
Atlantic City Electric: 14.9%
Jersey Central Power & Light: 15.1%
Public Service Electric & Gas: 10.9%
Rockland Electric:: 7.7%
