Stream Energy Named Finalist for American Business Award
Stream Energy has been named a finalist for an American Business Award in the category of Communications / PR Campaign of the Year with an emphasis on community relations. Stream Energy is being honored for its charitable endeavors in support of Captain Hope's Kids, a non-profit dedicated to providing relief to the homeless children of North Texas. Stream chairman Rob Snyder has twice been designated a finalist in the American Business Awards Chairman of the Year category.

The ERCOT Power Balance Penalty Curve (PBPC) should have a gentler slope and the starting energy bid price should remain at $200 given other changes to the market that have already been made, and are expected to be made, Commissioner Kenneth Anderson of the Public Utility Commission of Texas said in a memo last week (see earlier story).
