Xoom Energy Launches Residential Electric, Gas Service in Multiple States

Xoom Energy has recently begun offering electric and/or natural gas service to residential customers in several states.
Among the more recent market entries is the Ohio gas market, where Xoom offers residential service at Dominion East Ohio, Duke Energy Ohio, and Columbia Gas of Ohio.
Ohio residential pricing is as follows, with the base rate listed first, and the total rates from the Apples to Apples chart in parenthesis.
Columbia Gas:
12 Months Fixed @ $0.559 ($0.61452) per ccf
Monthly Variable @ $0.36530 ($0.42082) per ccf
Dominion East Ohio
12 Months Fixed @ $4.97 ($6.364) per mcf
Monthly Variable @ $3.9935 ($5.3875) per mcf
Duke Energy Ohio
12 Months Fixed @ $0.4864 ($0.5369) per ccf
Monthly Variable @ $0.339 ($0.3895) per ccf
As Matters has noted in the recent Connecticut electric migration reports, Xoom Energy has recently begun serving Connecticut customers. Residential pricing in Connecticut is as follows:

Additionally, the Massachusetts residential electric market appears to be one of Xoom's newer markets. Current Xoom residential pricing in Massachusetts is:

All 12 month rates quoted above include an early termination fee of $110, except at Duke Energy Ohio where the cancellation fee is $100. The six month product includes an early termination fee of $60.
Aside from its early residential markets which included California gas (Pacific Gas & Electric, San Diego Gas & Electric, and Southern California Gas), Michigan gas (Consumers Energy and MichCon), and later Texas electricity (all TDUs), Xoom Energy has also expanded residential service to include (in addition to the noted markets above):
• Illinois gas (Nicor Gas, North Shore Gas, Peoples Gas)
• Illinois electricity (ComEd)
• Indiana gas (NIPSCO)
• Maryland gas (Washington Gas Light)
