The Pennsylvania PUC has recently begun posting monthly migration statistics for the natural gas market.

Previously, the only statistics had been the Office of Consumer Advocate quarterly statistics, which only included residential customers. Matters most recently reported the OCA data as of April 1, 2012.

Notable growth in the number of residential customers on competitive supply from the March 2011 PUC migration report to the April 2011 report was seen at the following distribution companies:

Columbia Gas: +2,200

National Fuel Gas Distribution: +600

PECO: +2,250

UGI Utilities - Gas Division: +2,800
