Viridian Energy Enters Massachusetts Market, Releases Pricing

As previously reported, Viridian Energy will launch Massachusetts electric service on June 1 in two territories, and pricing has now been released.
Viridian said that its Massachusetts entry, which includes service at National Grid and Nstar, is part of its, "aggressive growth strategy."
Residential pricing for the National Grid and Nstar areas is identical is as follows:
20% Green, Variable: 6.35 cents per kWh
20% Green, 6 Months Fixed: 6.60 cents per kWh
100% Wind, Variable: 7.85 cents per kWh
100% Wind, 6 Months Fixed: 8.10 cents per kWh
Variable rate customers will receive an additional 10% off the rates displayed above for their first month of service. Following the first month, they will receive Viridian’s current variable rate, which is subject to fluctuate monthly.
Viridian said that more than 900 Massachusetts residents have joined the Viridian team as new independent sales associates.
