Texas Approves New Delivery Rates for Sharyland

The Public Utility Commission of Texas has approved Sharyland Utilities, L.P.'s application to increase its unbundled rates for residential, secondary, primary, and transmission service for its McAllen service area (Docket 40332). The approved rates are those reflected in Sharyland's May 11 filing, which can be found here.


Nordic Energy Services Wins Opt-Out Aggregation Contract

Nordic Energy Services announced that it has been awarded a contract to supply the opt-out aggregation program of the Village of Orland Park, Illinois. Under the terms of the agreement, residents will receive a two-year fixed rate of 4.823 cents/kWh. In addition, 25% of the power supplied will come from green sources. Nordic Energy Services was selected through an RFP administered by the Northern Illinois Municipal Electric Cooperative (NIMEC).
