ResCom Energy Seeks License in New State

ResCom Energy, LLC has applied for an electric supplier license in a new state.

Specifically, ResCom Energy, LLC applied for an Illinois alternative retail electric supplier license to serve all customer classes at Commonwealth Edison.

Since it was founded in August 2009, ResCom has enrolled nearly 200,000 customers in Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

ResCom was previously the largest electric supplier in Connecticut, by accounts, with nearly 90,000 customers before monetizing its Connecticut book by selling it to Public Power, LLC.
