Monthly Residential Electric Migration Growth Rate Nearly Doubles at BGE

The monthly growth in the number of residential electric customers taking competitive supply at Baltimore Gas & Electric nearly doubled during April, according to the latest stats from the Maryland PSC.

From the end of March to the end of April, BGE saw the number of residential electric customers on competitive supply increase by 7,500 accounts, nearly double the March growth of 4,200 accounts.

At Pepco, the number of residential electric customers on competitive supply increased by 1,600 accounts during April, versus the March growth of 2,300 accounts.

At Delmarva, the number of residential electric customers on competitive supply increased by 1,300 accounts during April, versus the March growth of 850 accounts.

At Potomac Edison (FirstEnergy), the number of residential electric customers on competitive supply increased by 900 accounts during April, versus the March growth of 1,300 accounts.
