Aequitas Energy Seeks Retail Supplier License
Aequitas Energy, Inc. applied for a Connecticut electric supplier license to serve all customer classes. As first reported by Matters, Aequitas Energy is an affiliate of broker-consultant Globelé Energy. Elena Cahill owns ninety percent of Aequitas, and Viper Networks, Inc. owns ten percent. Viper Networks has also contractually committed to acquire thirty percent of Aequitas (see prior story).
Santanna Energy Services Seeks Electric Supplier License
Santanna Natural Gas Corporation (d/b/a Santanna Energy Services) has again applied for an Illinois alternative retail electric supplier license to serve all customer classes, including residential customers, at ComEd and Ameren. Santanna Energy Services has previously applied for an Illinois electric supplier license but in such instances has withdrawn the application without prejudice. Santanna Energy Services is a licensed gas supplier in Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio, and a licensed electric supplier in Ohio. Santanna Energy Services is also a licensed ABC in Illinois.
Alternative Esco, LLC Seeks New License
Alternative Esco, LLC applied for a Pennsylvania electric broker/marketer license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. Alternative Esco, LLC offers utility bill auditing in addition to procurement services.
Incite Energy Receives New License
In a final order, the Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority granted Incite Energy L.L.C. an electric aggregator certificate to serve residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
